This retreat is for women who want to create positive changes in their lives... no matter your age or fitness level, this retreat is for you!

Our aim is to help you define your own sense of life balance, health and welness while you experience a sense of rejuvenation, revitalization and reinvention.

In addition to investing in yourself with like-minded women, we will:

  • Get your individualized body composition along with tips on achieving your ideal weight.
  • Acquire tools to help maintain energy, fitness and focus in your busy lives.

  • Develop tips for managing financial resources in challenging times.
  • Become empowered in the management of your life choices.

Marnie Laatz Dominy, M.S.

Marnie Laatz Dominy M.S. is an exercise physiologist and has been in the fitness industry since 1975.  She is currently a college professor, author, personal trainer, weight-loss coach and group fitness instructor.  Marnie is also a freelance writer with articles in Seattle Woman, Ms. Fitness, Arthritis Today, Health Monitor and QualityHealth.com and has been quoted in numerous national publications.  She will share her expertise in nutrition and fitness at the upcoming Alderbrook Women’s Wellness Retreat.

Dianne Cumberland

Dianne Cumberland is a Certified Personal Trainer and Weight Management Consultant.  She has been in the fitness industry for 30 years helping individuals make positive changes to their wellbeing through exercise and nutrition. She currently owns and manages Personal Training Team, Inc., a private fitness training company and was the recipient of the 2009 Women Business Owners Excellent Award.  Dianne is also a competitive bodybuilder, always maintaining a natural approach to training with several championships to her credit.  Dianne’s motto is, “It’s never too late to get in shape!”

Michelle Pugh

Michelle Pugh, owner of Joonbug Yoga, is a Senior Graphic Designer, 200 Hr. YTT/RYT certified in Yoga, LaStone Hotstone Therapy and Usui Reiki. Since childhood, her passions for healing and creativity have inspired Michelle to share wellness with others. She is has been the Senior Graphic Designer for WA State Parks since 2001 and freelance designer for Choosing Your Healthy Path, Saint Martin’s University, WA State Senior Games and many others. Michelle is looking forward sharing breath, flexibility and relaxation at the wellness retreat.
